Thomas Sinclair of Portadown

Thomas Sinclair, a labourer, and his family were recorded in April 1905 when they arrived at Ellis Island, New York, on the SS Teutonic, having sailed from Liverpool. Their tickets to Boston had been paid by his brother-in-law and their plans were to join Thomas’s daughter Elizabeth.

Thomas and his wife Mary Jane were travelling with all their family, including his mother-in-law Elizabeth Carson, aged 56 years.
