Thomas Sinclair of Tullycall

Thomas Sinclair was recorded in Griffith’s Valuation of 1864 as owning a house, offices and land in the townland of Tullycall in the parish of Derryloran, Co Tyrone. He married Nancy Rankin, also of Tullycall, in 1846 and they had seven children. In 1864, their daughter Eliza Sinclair seems to have leased a house in the townland of Derryloran, which was also known as Kirktown, neighbouring Cookstown. She married William Parke in 1869 and lived in Cookstown with their five children. Sarah Ann married Joseph Allen in 1878 and also lived in Coookstown with their seven children,. Eleanor married Robert Thomas Loughrin in 1880 and emigrated to America, where they had two children.
